Model 4844 table lamp designed by Enrique Franch for Metalarte. The structure features a vertical chromed steel column mounted on a circular black cast iron base. The adjustable hemispherical shade, finished in a dark bordeaux lacquer, can be moved along the stem and tilted to direct light. This model was selected for the ADI-FAD awards in Barcelona in 1973.

Enrique Franch is a Spanish industrial designer known for his functionalist approach to lighting and domestic objects. During the 1970s, his collaborations with the prestigious manufacturer Metalarte helped define a period of technical innovation and aesthetic refinement in Spanish modern design.
