Description
Each sconce features a reeded tapering backplate crowned with a carved floral bouquet finial and centered by a carved rosette block, descending to a foliate pendant drop with carved acanthus and laurel detailing. A single scrolling reeded arm extends from a fluted volute support and terminates in a turned candle cup with a foliate calyx and faux drip candle cover.
The pieces are executed in solid hand-carved wood with traditional water gilding over red clay bole, finished with intentional rub-through to suggest age and depth — a signature Panache finish technique.
