Description
This sophisticated Mid Century Modern table lamp was realized in France circa 1960. It features a tear drop form with a protuberant base that tapers to a conical neck in a rich palate of earth tones. Hand glazed with a speckled lava like texture full of expressionistic explosions of espresso hues against a backdrop of sumptuous tan and umber hues, this piece offers the refined organic modern sensibility that discerning collectors of French Mid Century Modern design absolutely adore. It is patently and masterfully handcrafted, and a completely unique (and stunning) object promising to bring (more than) a touch of understated elegance to any interior space regardless of the style of interior. It would be a winning complement to everything from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. The lamp comes presented with a custom shade and has been newly rewired to American standards. It is in excellent vintage condition.
