Description
The chandelier originates from Italy circa 1970. Features an oblong geometric frame composed in polished brass, with rectilinear nickel detailing, cleverly, placed within the frame and rewarding further viewing and detailed observation, hanging from a well proportioned, polished brass rod and round canopy. The cut crystal elements of the chandelier are truly stunning, hanging together and mirroring the shape of the oblong frame. They're cut an at an acute angle unifying to create an angled surface that surrounds the piece, bringing a remarkable degree of order within a highly dynamic and reflective fixture. The crystal elements also have highly precise machined grooves lending an additional degree of detail and unification to this glamorous piece. This chandelier beautifully balances and contains a remarkable degree of detailing with an a well proportioned and accessible form styling beautifully in a wide array of interiors in settings from mid century, modern asked to contemporary and minimal spaces. Rewired to American standards and height can be adjusted to suit, this piece is an excellent vintage condition.
