Description
This Modernist hand-blown Murano glass chandelier, crafted in Italy during the 20th century, is a stunning testament to the artistry and innovation of Venetian glassmakers. Designed in a minimalist leaf form, the chandelier offers a striking silhouette inspired by the natural elegance of botanical shapes, rendered with precision and sophistication. The chandelier’s reeded glass structure creates a dynamic textural surface that catches and reflects light, while delicate flecks of 24K white gold are suspended within the glass, imparting a soft, shimmering brilliance. Each element is hand-blown, highlighting the craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Murano glass is renowned. The result is a minimalist yet luxurious piece with a radiant, almost ethereal presence. Perfect for a contemporary or transitional space, this chandelier seamlessly merges modernist restraint with timeless Venetian opulence. In excellent condition, it showcases the enduring legacy of Murano’s glass-making tradition, bringing both functional light and sculptural beauty to any setting. A true collector’s piece and a rare find for design enthusiasts. Newly rewired to American Standards, with height that can be adjusted to suit, this chandelier accommodates 8 G-9 Bulbs achieving up to 480 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
