Description
This pair of modernist hand-blown Murano glass sconces embodies the timeless allure of Italian craftsmanship and design, creating a harmonious fusion of sculptural artistry and functional elegance. Originating in Italy during the early part of the 21st century, these sconces showcase expertly hand-blown Murano glass reverse dome shades, celebrated for their refined simplicity and sophisticated aesthetic. The glass radiates a soft, diffused glow when illuminated, highlighting the artistry and skill involved in its creation.
Supporting the glass domes are meticulously crafted brushed brass fittings, which provide an understated yet luxurious foundation that complements the soft curves of the hand-blown glass. The warm tones of the brushed brass add depth and contrast to the luminescent quality of the glass, resulting in a design that is both modernist and timeless. The clean lines and minimalist aesthetic ensure these sconces integrate seamlessly into a range of interior styles, from contemporary to mid-century and beyond.
Perfect for flanking a mirror, illuminating a hallway, or accentuating a living space, this exquisite pair transforms lighting into a statement of understated luxury. The Murano glass and carefully selected materials reflect the enduring tradition of Italian artistry, while the modernist form imbues the sconces with a contemporary edge that remains relevant and captivating decades later. Newly rewired to American Standards, these sconces accommodate six candelabra base bulbs each achieving up to 360 watts of light. In Excellent 21st century Condition.
