Pair of Art Deco Sconces by Société D'exploitation Des Verreries De Bagneaux

This refined pair of Art Deco sconces were realized by the esteemed by the Société d'Exploitation des Verreries de Bagneaux in Paris, circa 1930. They feature three sided open form obtuse angled frames in nickeled bronze that hold beautifully molded geometric shades offering a wealth of finely articulated geometric motifs that include striated abstracted sunburst patterns, skyscraper detailing, triangular and stylized arrow head forms. These sconces offer the verve and élan that discerning collectors of first rate Art Deco pieces cherish. With their monochromatic palate and clean modernist lines, they would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Deco to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards and are in excellent vintage condition.
