Pair of Large Table Lamps in Hand Carved Alabaster Italy 1950s
A wonderful pair of large and very elegant table lamps in carved alabaster. Italy, 1950s.
These are sculptural and architectural, featuring urn-like silhouettes rising from squared plinth bases. Elegant in proportion, the lamps combine classical references with a modern restraint and show subtle veins and warm tonal variations unique to the stone.
The natural translucence of alabaster diffuses the light with a soft, ambient glow once lit. A striking pair that embodies both material purity and timeless design.
These come in a good and original condition, without shades. Originally - EU - wired.
