"Splashing Water 37" Chandelier in Pewter & Acrylic by Remains Lighting

Sculptural “Splashing Water 37” six-light chandelier by Remains Lighting, New York, dated 2013. Designed as a dramatic interpretation of a fountain in motion, the chandelier features an elegant elongated teardrop-form body surrounded by sweeping, upward-rushing arcs of metal and delicate clear acrylic drops that appear suspended in mid-air.

Executed in a sophisticated pewter-finished metal, the chandelier features six gracefully curved candle-form arms surrounded by numerous slender stems terminating in clear acrylic spheres. The radiating composition creates a striking sense of movement, resembling splashing water or droplets frozen in space.

Viewed from below, the chandelier reveals an impressive starburst-like arrangement, while the transparent acrylic elements capture and reflect light throughout the sculptural framework.
