Riccardo Scarpa, born in Venice in 1905 and died in Paris in 1999, is an Italian draughtsman, sculptor and medallist. He was a student of De Loto and Carlo Lorenzetti at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and arrived in Paris in 1928. He lived in France until his death in 1999. In 1974, the Société des artistes français awarded him the gold medal for the body of work he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français.
