Description
The ‘THV 375’ table lamp was designed by Thomas Valentiner and produced for Poul Dinesen in Denmark. Crafted from brass and teak, this fully adjustable table lamp is perfectly balanced and has an understated design. The Danish designer Th. Valentiner is somewhat elusive; the only trace to be found of him are these stamped initials on the base of each lamp produced by Poul Dinesen.
Moreover, Denmark is extremely important in mid-century modern design history. The country brought a refreshing breath of humanism and innovation to modern design. Distinctive in numerous ways, this table lamp showcases the versatility that characterized the Danish mid-century era. This model is a beautiful representation of innovative experimentation, the clever integration of an adjustable body being exemplary of this. The brass and teak body beautifully accentuate the off-white shade and offer a timeless and elegant look, bound to complement any interior.
This lamp has many qualities that make it an ideal accent lamp, serving both a functional and a purely aesthetic role.
