Description
This original Tiffany Lamp features a domed blown Favrile Glass shade formed by richly saturated blue glass characterized by all-over surface iridescence. This exceptional Tiffany Favrile Glass shade features additional decoration of the “Wave” motif in silvery-gold iridescent tones. The interior of the shade is cased with a layer of white glass, allowing for brighter illumination, while subtle thick vertical ribbing adds a layer of visual complexity to the shade when the lamp is lit.

This shade is paired with an original bronze Tiffany Lamp base with ribbed domed base resting on ball feet in original sterling silver patina. This rare finish was made available at Tiffany Studios for an additional 20% on top of the purchase price on any lamp in their catalogue; gilding was also available for an additional 25%.

Both the shade and base of this original Tiffany Lamp are signed.
