This rare Postage Scale is part of the “Art Moderne” or “Art Deco” Desk Set produced by Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces, Inc. and retailed by Tiffany Studios in the 1920s. This set is characterized by rectilinear decoration with inset enamel in variegated shades. This Postage Scale features enamel decoration in the blue colorway with gold accents.

This scale is still fully functional and retains its original celluloid label, which is in excellent condition and completely legible. This rare piece of original Tiffany metalwork is stamped with firm’s marks and model number.
