Description
Rare floor lamp by Tor Wolfenstein for Ditzingers, Sweden, 1930s. This spectacular floor lamp is an interesting example of Swedish design from the beginning of the modernist era, mixing organic shapes with floral ornaments and several different materials. The base is made of brass, supporting a gold-painted metal sphere. The u-shaped iron stand is fixtured on top of the sphere, holding the brass tubes that support the adjustable shades.
