This minimal and well proportioned Mid-Century Modernist Three Shade Black Enamel and Chrome Versalite Chandelier by Troughton and Young originates from England, Circa 1950. Features three upward facing shades finished in black enamel with stamped round cutouts lining the edge of each shade, with slender linear cutouts on the back of each shade. The shades are suspended by a rod which expands beneath the body of the chandelier and then rises to a curved circular chrome canopy. This fixture achieves material harmony through the combination of black enamel and reflective chrome. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. With a height that can be adjusted to suit, this piece accommodates 3 Edison Base Bulbs achieving up to 300 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
