A Finnish design flush mount model 1241, manufactured by Valinte in Finland in the 1950s. Vintage ceiling lamps like this one were made by a few different companies in 1950s in Finland. Valinte, Itsu, Taito, Idman and Orno were some of the leading lighting manufacturers in mid-century Finland. This lamp is a prime example of Finnish mid century design, simple and functional yet elegant. Due to its plain look this lamp can easily blend into any number of interiors. The item is stamped by the manufacturer "Valinte".

The item is in good condition, and the patina is true to it's age. It is amazingly in its completely original condition. Rarely does such a delicate lamp style remain in such good condition after being used for 70 years or so.
