Vintage Green Painted Wrought Iron Lantern with Blown Glass Bowl

A distinctive vintage hanging lantern combining a gracefully scrolled wrought-iron frame with an elegant ribbed glass bowl. The structure is finished in softly aged green paint, creating a pleasing verdigris appearance that contrasts beautifully with the warm gilt-metal details. Three sweeping supports rise from the circular gallery and meet beneath a decorative ceiling canopy, forming an airy, sculptural silhouette. Applied foliate ornaments, rosettes, scrolls, and a twisted central stem lend the fixture classical character. The generously proportioned glass shade features a flared rim, vertical ribbing, and a rounded base finished with an ornamental finial. When illuminated, the textured glass softly diffuses the light. An expressive statement piece for an entry hall, stairway, dining room, or covered interior courtyard, blending architectural presence with romantic European-inspired style.
