Description
A rare and highly architectural “Aurora” chandelier designed and handcrafted in Los Angeles, California by celebrated lighting artist Marian Jamieson. Acquired directly from the artist as a showroom floor sample, this exceptional sculptural fixture exemplifies contemporary California design, blending studio craftsmanship, modernist geometry, and collectible artisan lighting into one dramatic statement piece.
Executed in solid brass and finished in an elegant dark pewter plating, the Aurora features an impressive composition of 20 radiating arms/lights, creating a striking constellation-like silhouette from every angle. The dynamic asymmetrical arrangement evokes the work of mid-century masters while maintaining a distinctly contemporary West Coast sensibility.
This is the kind of statement lighting sought after by interior designers, architects, luxury developers, and serious design collectors looking for museum-quality custom lighting. Its generous scale makes it ideal over a large dining table, grand foyer, double-height entry, luxury primary suite, boutique hospitality environment, or contemporary gallery-inspired interior.
An especially desirable feature is the customizable center rod/overall drop, allowing the fixture to be tailored to your project’s ceiling height and installation requirements.
This example was a floor sample acquired directly from the artist and remains in very good condition, showing only minor signs of display wear consistent with showroom presentation.
A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic Marian Jamieson studio-made chandelier directly tied to the artist’s Los Angeles practice.
Measurements:
48.00 inches wide x 48.00 inches deep x 21.00 inches high
(Custom drop available via adjustable center rod) -
