Jean Prouvé created the Lampe de Bureau in 1930 as part of the functional furnishings for the halls of residence at the Cité Universitaire in Nancy. Constructed from a single piece of powder coated sheet steel, it ingeniously reflects light in a warm and pleasing way. Thanks to its incredibly refined reductive aesthetic, Lampe de Bureau is an ideal lighting choice for a wide variety of settings, from living rooms to offices or hotels. Price is per item. New authorized re-edition by Vitra with warranty and “Certificate of Authenticity." Also available in mint green and deep black in separate listings. In-stock lead time 15-16 weeks.
