Description
Single Yasha Heifetz Rotoflex 'saucer' pendant in spun plastic (ca. 1960s, USA). The exact process involves mold spinning thermoplastic bioplastic cord while simultaneously brushing on acetone mixture as it spins. The resulting product is cellulose acetate, an early acrylic, which is lighter than glass and more robust than paper. It emits a warm, lovely light.
Large size Height: 10.25" x Diameter: 23"
Wiring, single socket, and supporting hardware have been replaced. LED Party Bulbs have been used for demonstration purposes in each fixture to show how utilizing different colored bulbs transforms these fixtures. Though, they additionally emit a warm, lovely light when standard, soft white bulbs are employed. Maximum wattage/socket is 110/230 Volt.
Did not initially include a canopy.
Price is for a single pendant - three are available. -
