Exceptional19th century Biedermeier wall mirror from the famous period in Vienna - Austria around 1835. An amazing looking, artully crafted Biedermeier mirror, impressing with its fantastic designed, inwardly beveled broad frame. A band of fine, beautiful looking burl walnut was set in the center, framed by thin inlayed maple threads and surrounded by lighter nutwood stripes on the inside as well as on the outside. This large 19th century Biedermeier walnut mirror comes in perfect restored condition, showing a traditional, hand-polished shellac finish, which additionaly reinforces the gorgeous grain of the walnut/ nutwood veneer. A magnificent example of an early antique Biedermeier mirror, that will catch every viewer´s eye. The metal ring on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
