-
Description
Unusual hand carved rustic Black Forest wall mirror with double frame out of Austria from the period around 1880. A real charming example of a late 19th century Black Forest mirror, elaborately made out of basswood, showing a very dark brown stained surface. Framed by slim bars on the outside -all crafted in the manner of a tree branches - the main frame shows cross-carved patterns, where the frame is slightly tilted inwards. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process. Another fantastic looking antique wall mirror in our popular rustic Black Forest mirror collection.
