Description
Fantastic looking, late 19th century rustic Black Forest wall mirror from the period around 1870 in Austria. The amazing rural design of this landscape format wall mirror shows a one of a kind doubled frame with protruding corners and impresses with an exceptional, elaborately hand carved "tree trunk" style. Three little carved oak leaves on the top center framed by a branch arch confers this gorgeous looking rustic mirror a very special charme. This antique Black Forest mirror comes in perfect restored condition with a very dark brown almost black looking surface, sealed with a mat varnish. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process.
