19th Century Rustic Tramp Art Wall Mirror Hand Carved, Austria, circa 1870
-
Description
Unusual, large rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century around 1870 in Austria. Hand carved out of fine basswood, the broad frame shows an amazing looking rough chip carved design with spectacular made corners. The very dark brown stained surface shows a shellac finishing and confers this antique mirror a real great appearance. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process and a hand forged ring on the backside makes wall mounting easy. Another gorgeous, unique Tramp Art masterpiece in our very popular selection of rustic wall mirrors.
