Extraordinary 19th century rustic Tramp Art mirror, coming from an old chapel in Austria. This unique hand carved wooden mirror has been artfully crafted in the period around 1880 out of basswood and shows a beautiful dark brown surface finished with a semi-gloss varnish. Beside the gorgeous looking protruding pointed corners, this decorative rural tramp art mirror impresses with its broad, chip carved framework. The still original leather loop on the back makes wall mounting easy. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process. A truly impressive example in our highly demanded Tramp Art collection.
