Description
A rare and elegant Murano glass 'a treccia' circular glass framed table or vanity mirror. Hand worked in twisted colorless Murano glass, the spiral design known as “a treccia” after its resemblance to a braid. The 'a treccia' beveled glass frame lined with a brass band, secured with a brass clip to the wooden back-plate, with brass folding easel stand.
Designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini, Italy, 1950s.
