Description
The frame of the Tapered mirror has an elegant, subtle taper both in thickness and in width on the the vertical (stiles). This creates an overall trapezoidal shape and a heavier lower rail that reflects in the glass and provides a pleasing tension with the square mirror. The top and lower rails are square edged and of minimal width; the stiles have a rounded outer edge that increases proportionately with the growing taper down its height. The Tapered mirror is constructed with mortise and tenon joinery and is hand shaped and finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish.
