English 19th Century Convex Mirror
-
Description
This large English convex mirror exudes elegance and style. The thick, gilded outer frame is enhanced by sumptuous carvings of acanthus, stationed at the four cardinal points, the pairs of unfurling leaves stretching in opposite directions. Separating the outer molding from the glass is a ring of ebonized, reeded molding. The original mirror plate exhibits a veil of foxing and crystals. Fixed with wire and ready to hang in your interior. View the detailed images. Mirror plate diameter: 22 ¼”
