French 19th Century Gold Gilt Louis Philippe Mirror
-
Description
This fantastic gold gilt Louis Philippe mirror was made in France, circa 1880.
The classic design of the Louis Philippe mirror is universally loved for its versatility and simple brilliance. This Louie’s frame has a wavy design on its outer perimeter and a beaded pearl design that runs along the edge of the mirror’s glass. The frame has lovely flowers subtly etched into its surface. The mirror’s glass is its original mercury glass, which has minimal foxing and/or sparkles. -
