A very fine hand-carved walnut framed mirror attributed to Gio Ponti, circa 1930. The thick beveled glass plate echoes the shape of the walnut frame, with decorative stepped carving at the crest and thick solid walnut carving on the surround. A stunning streamlined and sleek piece handcrafted with exceptional quality materials and by highly skilled craftsman. The mirror is highly geometric, refined, yet luxurious in its simplicity. A classic and timeless piece.
