This large-scale mirror features a distinctive architectural silhouette framed in warm patinated brass. The rectangular body gently tapers toward the bottom, while the upper edge rises at either side before stepping inward to a broad recessed center. The combination of rounded outer corners and more angular upper lines gives the mirror a particularly strong and unusual profile.

The original mirror plate is set within a narrow brass frame that has developed an attractive warm patina with age. The restrained use of brass allows the sculptural outline of the mirror itself to remain the principal decorative element.

The reverse retains its period wood construction and original hanging hardware. With its generous proportions and clean, graphic form, this is a striking example of Italian midcentury mirror design that works particularly well in both modern and more traditional interiors.
