This elegant 19th-century Swedish Gustavian sofa, circa 1820, is a striking example of the timeless beauty and functionality of Scandinavian design. Crafted from pine, the sofa features a graceful high back with carved detailing, fluted legs, and a whitewashed patina that highlights the natural grain of the wood while imparting an aged and refined aesthetic. The Gustavian influence is evident in its clean lines, symmetrical form, and understated elegance.
