Description
This elegant Art Deco curved sofa, crafted in the United States circa 1940, is a stunning example of the design and material execution of the Art Deco movement. Featuring scroll-form arms leading to a curved back with a lovely silhouette and graceful curves, this sofa is beautifully proportioned. The channel and button-tufted detailing along the back adds depth and sophistication, while emphasizing the meticulous craftsmanship of the era and lovely geometric precision. The sofa stands on tapered, ebonized supports, which offer both functional stability and a striking contrast to the lovely smoked burgundy velvet upholstery. The sleek, dark finish of the wood legs further enhances the refined aesthetic, grounding the overall design with a sense of modernity. With its boldly elegant presence, this sofa is the perfect centerpiece for a living room, sitting area, or lounge. Its sculptural form and high-quality materials exude timeless style and luxurious comfort, making it a quintessential representation of American Art Deco furniture design. Newly reupholstered in a stunning smoked Burgundy velvet, this sofa is in Mint Restored Condition.
