Description
Six Hollywood Regency dining chairs manufactured by Belgo Chrom.A set of six dining room chairs manufactured in the 1970s by the Belgian furniture manufacturer Belgo Chrom. The name suggests that the range mainly consisted of furniture made of metal with a chrome finish. These chairs have a distinguished look and fit perfectly into the Hollywood Regency genre with their gold-plated appearance and unusual upholstery. The frame consists of a square brass tube construction and is connected by Hex bolts. A rounded backrest at the top slopes slightly backwards, resulting in improved back support. Both the seats and backrests still have the original upholstery with irregular horizontal lines that vary in color from dark blue hues to black. Original cushion fillings are still in place and provide excellent suspension. The condition of the set is good, with natural signs of wear such as scratches and discolouration of the brass. This ensures the slightly patinated appearance of the frames."
