Description
These mid-century bar stools are absolutely stunning. In the manner of Californian designer Cleo Baldon (often attributed to Cleo Baldon), there are several iterations of these stools and chairs that were designed for Terra and Inca. These stools feature the parallel bar pattern across the backs which is striking and even more beautiful when places against the walnut arms and legs and fine oatmeal colored Belgian Boucle.
These stools are a fine and true example of Mid-Century Modern California design at its finest. They are true examples of modernism and really current feel that's timeless. These stools can effortlessly be paired equally with a Nakashima styled walnut table just as easily as they could with a glass and iron dining table. These stools have a warmth that would also really go with an art deco, arts and crafts and even missionary styled environment.
We currently have these stools in the gallery paired with a walnut craft studio dining table as well as a Vladimir Kagan sideboard and not only do these chairs hold their own, they make a subtle warm statement. These chairs are absolutely beautiful.
The back rests are not sewn on, they feature snap tabs for easy removal. -
