Description
French late 18th Century Louis XIV walnut “os de mouton” walnut bench with well carved sculptural s-shaped legs ending in C-scrolls, the curvy long carved central stretcher has a drop finial, upholstered in an orange fabric.
Os de Mouton or sheep’s bone was named because the shape of the legs were thought to resemble the legs of a lamb. -
