Description
This rare lounge chair was designed by Gösta Jonsson and produced in Jönköping, Sweden in the late 1940s. The beautifully curved backrest makes this a very comfortable and embracing chair to sit. The buttoned back and seat emphasize the elegant shape of the design. The chair retains it's original gray mohair velvet upholstery. This fabric is in good overall condition, there are some minor marks and scratches on the velvet. If desired, the chair can be newly upholstered according to your personal wishes. The tapered legs are in flamed, solid birch wood and have been restored and refinished, preserving the original patina.
