Gio Ponti Pair of Lounge Chairs

Description
This great pair of lounge chairs have been professionally conserved and are in excellent condition. They were manufactured by Singer and Sons in 1950. The diagonal caved wood arms are accented with circular brass joiners. Giovanni “Gio” Ponti was an Italian architect, industrial designer, furniture designer, artist, teacher, writer and publisher. During his career, which spanned six decades, Ponti built more than a hundred buildings in Italy and in the rest of the world.
