Eames lounge chair & ottoman, models 670 & 671, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and manufactured by Herman Miller in circa 1957. Both the chair and ottoman are hand-assembled with great attention paid to the details. The lounge chair is constructed of three molded plywood shells and tailored leather cushions mounted on a cast aluminum base that pivots. An overall iconic collector's item with rich history and charismatic patina.

The Eames lounge chair was a fresh and modern new take on the classic 19th-century club chair and a culmination of experimentation by its inventive creators Charles & Ray Eames. Some define it as their signature design that reshaped the design world. Like all classics, the chair and ottoman get better with age, in part because of how they are made.
