Description
Small, faceted sofa/settee designed by Michael Graves composed of a stained Birdseye Maple frame with ebony inlaid triangles and applied ebonized cylindrical decorations at the feet (ca. 1980, USA).
Scarcely seen piece by the noted architect remaining highly stylized with its sweeping lines, luxe materials and unique incorporation of geometrical shapes, while occupying a small footprint.
Upholstery is original and shows well with only minor wear from use (usable as is). Frame has been conservatively refinished and is in very good, vintage condition with only light age-commensurate wear remaining.
Matching club chairs are available separately - listing is for the settee alone.
