This elegant Mid Century Modern side chair was realized in the United States circa 1950. It features saber form legs in ebonized walnut; a rhombus form seat with piping around the perimeter; and a rectangular back that curves gently away from the seat and offers a rectilinear cut out at its base. Quietly full of verve and élan, this piece represents the qualities that discerning collectors of first rate American Mid Century Modern design absolutely adore. Its clean lines and monochromatic palate ensure that it would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly reupholstered in a pearlescent Holly Hunt fabric and restored to mint condition.
