Important Pair of Osvaldo Borsani P71 Armchairs in Walnut, Tecno, Italy, 1954

Price Upon Request
  • Description
This important pair of armchairs was designed by Osvaldo Borsani and produced by Tecno in Como, Italy in 1954. The very rare P71 was one of the first designs produced by Tecno after the company was founded by Osvaldo Borsani and his brother Fulgenzio in 1953. The model was exhibited at the X Milan Triennale in 1954 and was later also included in the interior of the Villa Borsani, the designer's own home in Varedo.

The striking design is marked by the sculptural legs and open arm rests in solid Italian walnut wood. The chairs have been newly upholstered in a pear green / yellow chenille fabric.
