Pair of French Art Deco Walnut & Black Lacquer Club Chairs
-
Description
These two Art Deco club chairs constructed in book-matched walnut were realized in France, circa 1935. They feature a generous, streamlined back with rounded, rectilinear arms and also the same upholstered detailing on the sides plus a black lacquer inset base. The chairs have been newly reupholstered in a finely textured Holly Hunt “Daybreak” fabric in a rich cream color. With their bold, eye-stopping geometry, these chairs are simultaneously completely of the period and timeless, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Art Deco to contemporary. These have been newly reupholstered and restored to mint condition.
