Pair of Repose Chairs in White Leather, Enameled Steel & Charcoal Upholstery

This sophisticated pair of Mid Century Modern repose chairs were realized in the Netherlands circa 1960. They feature angular compass style legs with round feet in enameled steel and sculptural v-form arms with rounded interior angles clad in luxe white leather. The rectilinear and gently reclined cushions have been newly reupholstered in a subtly textural charcoal fabric. With their idiosyncratic, strikingly graphic form and monochromatic palate, these chairs are as versatile as they are aesthetically compelling. They would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly reupholstered and are in excellent vintage condition.
