    Wonderful pair of Paul McCobb lounge chairs made by Directional USA, c. 1955 done in upholstery, lacquered birch. Paul McCobb stands out as one of America’s most influential mid-century designers, responsible for transforming interiors across the country with his modern takes on classic forms.
    These handsome chairs measure 32 h × 32 w × 34 d with a seat height of 17"t.

    Chairs are in good vintage condition with light age appropriate wear. They have been reupholstered probably in the 80s so reupholstery is recommended. The lacquered birch base shows some scuffs and dings-see photos.
