Description
Large Post Modern Sectional Sofa by Preview professionally reupholstered in highly durable super soft ivory white bouclé. If there was a ever a decade when furniture became CURVY, it was the 1990s. From famous iconic mid century modern designers like Milo Baughman to the best of California Modern Celebrity Designers like Steve Chase, all got on board with curves. A decade meant to blur some of the more rigid lines of the 1980s, sofas and swivels made in the 1990s were meant to look like art when not in use. At the same time, the 1980s demand for luxury persisted. Leisure furniture - like sofas and swivel chairs - became top to bottom swollen plush upholstered pieces. At times with some metal details you'd never come in contact with. A curvy artful almost spaceship like sofa luxuriously upholstered top to bottom in plush curvy ivory white bouclé, this large Preview sectional sofa delivers that Post Modern all enveloping comfort for you and up to nine of your guests. Curved seats blur formality and make group conversation easy, comfortable and chic. Cozy. Plush. Lux feel. Artful furniture you'll take a moment to admire from a distance everyday. A true score. New Ivory White Bouclé upholstery is as soft as shearling. A well regarded quality brand, Preview created memorable modern lines in seating and are known for their sculptural quality furniture. Preview worked with the best and regularly commissioned globally recognized designers like Vladimir Kagan and Michael Wolk to create some of the most sought after Post Modern pieces of the time. This sectional sofa is a centerpiece and one of our shop's favorite in inventory. This Post Modern masterpiece needs a special space to adorn. Note: Model seated is 6 ft. tall and 185 lbs. Preview Original label.
