Description
A set of ten pinewood chairs with a sculptural and robust presence. Designed in a style reminiscent of Rainer Daumiller and Erwin Berghammer, these chairs embrace simplicity and functionality. Crafted with precision, they exude a warm natural appeal, perfectly suited for both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Design
Each chair features a sturdy construction with solid pinewood, showcasing the natural grain of the material. The rounded seat is split into two subtly curved sections, adding both visual interest and comfort. A gently curved backrest provides ergonomic support, while the smooth armrests extend seamlessly from the back, creating a fluid and cohesive design. The legs, cylindrical and firmly grounded, enhance stability without compromising the elegant proportions. The thoughtful craftsmanship ensures durability and usability, making them well-suited for everyday use. Whether arranged around a dining table or placed individually as accent pieces, these chairs retain their strong character.
This collection reflects a harmonious balance between organic form and structural integrity. Their honest materiality and precise joinery capture the essence of well-executed Nordic and Alpine design, where function dictates form with no unnecessary embellishments.
Condition
The chairs are in good condition with signs of use that add character. A rich patina has developed over time, enhancing the warmth of the pinewood while preserving the integrity of the design. -
