Description
Modernism; Knoll International; Minimalist Design; Florence Knoll; 1966; Richard Schultz; Florida; United States; Outdoor Furniture;
Lounge chairs by Richard Schultz from his 1966 collection. Designed at the request of Florence Knoll, who after retirement longed for outdoor furniture that could withstand Florida's corrosive sea air. The bright white steel frame is combined with a refined wood surface, seamlessly blending elegance and robustness. Unlike the usual aesthetic of the time, this collection avoids unnecessary curves and opulent embellishments. Instead, clean lines and simple shapes are used, highlighting the natural beauty of the materials used. These pieces appealed to lovers of modern design, offering a respite from the prevailing archaic styles and introducing a new era of outdoor elegance. To complete the set, check out our range of additional lounge chairs that harmonize perfectly with these armchairs and create an oasis of refined comfort. Priced per piece. -
