Description
Designed in Brazil around 1960, this slatted bench reflects a distinctive approach to modernism, where comfort, craftsmanship, and material expression are closely intertwined.
Constructed in solid wood, the piece is supported by a straightforward yet carefully considered frame, where proportions and joinery contribute to its understated architectural presence. The elongated form comfortably accommodates two to three people, reinforcing its functional versatility. As with much of Rodrigues’ work, the bench embodies a relaxed elegance and a deep respect for material, offering a refined yet approachable interpretation of mid-century Brazilian modernism. -
