Description
Architectural and exceptionally refined, the Creso High Sideboard, originally introduced in 2006, was designed by Antonio Citterio for Maxalto / B&B Italia and exemplifies the sophisticated balance of function, proportion, and timeless Italian modernism.
The Creso model is celebrated for its dramatic interplay of horizontal and vertical planes, creating a bold sculptural silhouette with elegant optical depth. Rich dark oak surfaces contrast beautifully with satin metal structural elements and plinth base, giving the cabinet a floating, architectural presence.
The upper drop-front compartment opens to reveal an integrated service or workspace surface, ideal for use as a luxury bar cabinet, hidden desk, serving station, or media storage solution. The lower cabinet doors open to spacious shelving for bottles, books, tableware, electronics, or household storage.
Designed during Antonio Citterio’s influential mid-2000s period with B&B Italia, the Creso remains highly desirable among collectors and interior designers seeking authentic Italian modern furniture, Maxalto case pieces, and clean-lined architectural storage cabinets.
Perfect for contemporary, minimalist, penthouse, executive office, gallery, or luxury residential interiors.
Presented in vintage condition with age-appropriate wear including nicks, scratches, and surface marks to the wood and metal consistent with use.
A rare and important opportunity to acquire an original 2006 design by Antonio Citterio for one of Italy’s premier luxury furniture houses.
